Norway House Cree Nation
Norway House is a dynamic, rapidly growing northern Manitoba community with a current population of approximately 6,950 people, including residents of the Norway House Cree Nation (NHCN) and the affiliated Norway House Community Council.
Norway House residents have a proud history of collaboration and partnership and played an important role in the early development of northern Manitoba and Canada.

Goals and Objectives:
- Develop a governance constitution that will transform NHCN into a true sovereign Nation while honouring our Treaty & Inherent Rights.
- To be financially stable & secure through effective & sound financial management.
- Implement central services of the NHCN & ensure programs and services are efficient & responsive to the needs of NHCN membership.
- Achieving an independent and sustainable community through education, training and economic development initiatives.
