The main entrance of the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence is a striking fusion of modern design and cultural heritage. Featuring expansive glass panels framed by natural wood elements, it offers a welcoming and bright entryway that symbolizes openness and accessibility.
Above the entrance, intricate Indigenous art reflects the rich traditions and values of the Norway House Cree Nation, creating a harmonious blend of contemporary aesthetics and cultural significance.

PRIMARY CARE CLINIC
The Primary Care Clinic includes all the services you receive for your basic, everyday health needs. It is often called the front door to health care - your entry point into the health-care system. It might be a visit to your family doctor, a call to Health Link or an appointment with a therapist.
The primary care clinician listens to the patient, makes diagnoses, manages, and screens for other health care problems.
EMERGENCY
The Emergency Unit at the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence is designed to provide rapid, high-quality care in critical situations. This facility is equipped with advanced medical technology and features a layout that ensures efficient patient flow, enabling our healthcare team to respond swiftly to emergencies.
The unit is prepared to handle a wide range of urgent medical needs, offering 24/7 care to the community. CULTURAL HALL
The Cultural Hall of the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence is a vibrant space that celebrates and honors the rich traditions of the Norway House Cree Nation. Adorned with traditional artwork and crafted with natural materials, the hall serves as a gathering place for cultural events, ceremonies, and community activities.
Its design seamlessly blends modern functionality with elements of Cree heritage, creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters connection, learning, and cultural pride.
PHARMACY
There is a space for a Pharmacy located in the HCE, but due to pharmacy governing laws, we may not be able to provide this service in our new building. The planning committee is working hard to make the decision to go ahead with it, or to use the space for another purpose.

CONFERENCE & LEARNING CENTRE
The Conference & Learning Centre at the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence is a modern, versatile space designed to facilitate collaboration, education, and professional development. KITCHEN / LAUNDRY / HOUSEKEEPING
The Kitchen, Laundry, and Housekeeping areas of the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence are thoughtfully designed to support the daily operational needs of the facility. The Kitchen features modern appliances and efficient workflows to ensure the preparation of nutritious meals with ease.
The Laundry area is equipped with high-capacity machines to handle the facility's needs efficiently, while the Housekeeping section is optimized for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the centre.

REHABILITATION

COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES
This diverse sector covers a wide range of services, from those targeted at people living with complex health and care needs – such as district nursing and palliative care – to health promotion services – such as school nursing and health visiting.
Community services play a key role in keeping people well, treating and managing acute illness and long-term conditions, and supporting people to live independently in their own homes.

STAFF LOUNGE & LOCKERS
The Staff Lounge & Lockers area at the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence offers a dedicated space for staff to relax and rejuvenate during their shifts. The lounge is thoughtfully designed with comfortable seating, a calming atmosphere, and amenities to support well-being and social interaction.

QUIET ROOM
The Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellencehas a unique room called the Quiet Room. This room was designed to provide a safe and quiet environment in which visitors can relax and find comfort. It was designed with its own air handling system so that it can be used for smudging if needed. The room was designed to focus sound to the central point.
ADMINISTRATION OFFICES
The Administration section completes clerical and administrative tasks for the hospital. The main duties include welcoming and directing visitors, coordinating meetings and appointments and performing clerical tasks.
CAFE & SEATING
The Café & Seating area of the Kinosew Sipi Nanatawiwekamik Health Centre of Excellence provides a welcoming and comfortable space for visitors, patients, and staff to enjoy meals and refreshments.
